DRY SHAMPOO FOR YOU?
ok, you people know how I like dry shampoo. I have fine bleached hair that gets so oily, it needs a wash everyday. Well too bad. I don’t have time for that, and it’s destroying my hair. So I have turned to dry shampoo. I have tried three kinds:
1. Pssssst! -ok it’s no secret that this dry shampoo sucks. It leaves my blonde hair looking grey, so I can’t imagine what it does to a brunette. And the smell really did nothing for me.
2. Rockaholic by TIGI- This stuff works, but is very white and grainy. I felt like I had to work really hard to get it out of my hair, and it got all over my bathroom. It felt kind of like sand or silt. Caused major buildup and weighed down my hair. Also, it smells weird.
3. Suave Dry Shampoo -this stuff is super affordable. I’m talking 2-3 bucks! It works very well and brushes out great. My hair had a very textured feeling afterwords, it wasn’t soft. But on the bright side, it wasn’t greasy either. I like the smell, but my sister made a gagging face when she smelled it, so smell before you buy!
AND THE WINNER IS….
4. DOVE DRY SHAMPOO!!!! This dry shampoo takes the cake. My hair is still touchable (not just-washed soft, but still quite soft) and this stuff is practically clear. It has a wonderful smell very similar to the rest of their shampoos. This is my new hair hero!
I am now trying out dry conditioners to keep my ends lovely soft and shiny even when I skip a day. They need all the love they can get. I’ll let you know how it goes :)
